I've been quietly working on this collection for the last year.

It's a reflection of co-existing joy & lament.

The earthy tones & grit represent the grief & pain of life while also being shaped into dynamic compositions.

So the artwork represents an acceptance of life's heartache while recognizing that beauty can still emerge from it.

 

Fun note: many of these pieces are mixed media including alcohol ink, acrylic, amber resin & even turmeric spice! I adore these organic mineral textures mimicking nature, do you?
